We are working to create VR Player presets for all of our videos at virtualrealporn.com. All the videos work with the latest tracker plugin released by Stéphane in the Oculus Developers forum.

This is a preliminar preset for our last video “After Party”, it includes chromatic correction. Please give us your feedback, thank you very much!

I’ve finally received my DK2 and played around a little with VR Player and your videos. The improvement is remarkable even if DK2 support in VR Player is early and has issues with stuttering (at least for me). I find that Horizontal separation of about 10-20 and FOV 90 seems to be perfect for the 180 videos (and 0 separation for the 120 looks good). At least for me. Basically starting at a point where far away objects are diverging and then adjusting until I can start to comfortably focus at the most distant object in the scene (basically trying to find something as close as possible to vanishing point on the horizon inside).
I guess if both VR Player and the videos do everything absolutely correct then 0 separation should be correct meaning no separation at infinite distance just like the real world?

Now I’m just waiting for full support of Dk2 and all features in VR Player to make it really smooth and solid like I know the Dk2 can be! =)

Keep up the good work and keep that great content coming! 😉

I’ve been messing around with LiveViewRift to view your content instead of VR Player. Have you tried it and what settings would you recommend for your videos? For the 180deg videos equir mode with 180 horizontal and 180 vertical works fine. Some slight adjustment (about 3 deg) for convergence on some of the videos. I’m having a bit harder time to get it correct with the older videos. Always seems like some straight line gets bent somewhere in the view.

Hello Anders, thank you for your message. We’ll test that software to publish the best settings to enjoy our videos using it. Enjoy our site!
