• Milk VR: Samsung have retired the app in many countries temporarily, but don’t worry, you can watch our videos in the Oculus 360 Video app by putting the video file in the “Oculus\360Videos” folder of the SD card. There are also some solutions for the Milk VR in the Oculus Forum.
• Big improvement: we are preparing a big improvement in our content… stay tuned to our blog!!

Hi everyone! We have adapted our 180º videos for Samsung Gear VR to support Milk VR! Follow these steps:

Milk VR

From a PC/Mac computer:

• Install Milk VR in your Note 4
• Connect the Galaxy Note 4 to your computer with the USB cable
• If there is a ZIP file:
  • Download the zip file into the computer
  • Extract the content of this ZIP file
  • Copy all the extracted files within your phone in the folder: Phone\Android\data\com.samsung.vrvideo\files
  • If your system asks you about converting the files, select “No”
• If there are a Video and config files:
  • Download both files into the computer
  • Copy them files within your phone in the folder: Phone\Android\data\com.samsung.vrvideo\files
  • If your system asks you about converting the files, select “No”
• Now, the video is ready for watching with the “Milk VR” app.

From the Galaxy Note 4:

• Install Milk VR in your Note 4
• If there is a ZIP file:
  • Download the zip file with the “Internet” app
  • When the download is finished, tap on the download in the notification center
  • The app asks you for a folder, tap on “Extract”
  • A new folder is created, named with the name of the video
  • Tap on the new folder to enter it
  • Tap on the upper right icon (three dots) and tap on “Select”
  • Select all the files (one readme, one video and one json file)
  • Tap on the upper right icon (three dots) and tap on “Move”
  • Select LocalStorage\Android\data\com.samsung.vrvideo\files
  • Tap on the upper right button “Move here”
  • Now, the video is ready for watching with the “Milk VR” app, inside the “Downloaded” section
• If there are a Video and config files:
  • Download both files with the “Internet” app
  • When the download is finished, go to “My files” app
  • Tap on “Storage”
  • Tap on “Download”

Hi everyone! This is the first surprise of the new year 2015: VirtualRealPorn now supports Samsung Gear VR! Our videos have been adapted to the requirements for watching them with the “Oculus 360 Video” app on your Gear VR.

There are two options for downloading our videos on your GearVR:

From a PC/Mac computer:

• Download the video file into the computer (it’s a zip file with the video and a thumbnail image)
• Remove the battery cover of your Samsung Galaxy Note 4
• Extract the microSD card
• Connect it to your computer (through the SD card adapter or a card reader)
• Extract the contents of the zip file into the “Oculus\360Videos” folder of the SD card. We recommend to create a subfolder named “VirtualRealPorn”.For example: D:\Oculus\360Videos\VirtualRealPorn
• Now, the video is ready for watching with the “Oculus 360 Videos” app from the “Oculus Home” or Library menu.

From the Samsung Galaxy Note 4:

• Download the video file from the “Internet” app (it’s a zip file with the video and a thumbnail image)
• When the download is finished, tap on the download in the notification center
• The app asks you for a folder, tap on “Extract”
• A new folder is created, named with the name of the video
• Tap on the new folder to enter it
• Tap on the upper right icon (three dots) and tap on “Select”
• Select all the files (one readme, one video and one thumbnail)
• Tap on the upper right icon (three dots) and tap on “Move”
• Select SDcard/Oculus/360Videos (we recommend to create a subfolder “VirtualRealPorn” here, using the in the lower part of the screen “Create folder”)
• Now, the video is ready for watching with the “Oculus 360 Videos” app from the “Oculus Home” menu or Library menu.

• VirtualRealPlayer: We have added support for all the 1080p “smartphone versions” of our videos. There is no need to download the software again, we only recommend to delete all the files > 1KB in the Videos\config folder.

      Path: Select the video file
      Press Start
      Press H key until you see the HUD
      Press E key until you see “LR”

      Press J/K keys until equir lat is at 180
      Press N/M keys until equir lat is at 180
      Press S/D keys until Converge is at 0
      Press Up/Down keys until Repair is at 0
      You can control the vertical pitch with Z/U keys
  • Added another solution for the black screen issue
    • Uninstall K-Lite Codec Pack Basic
      Download and install LAV Filters
      Download and install Win7DSFilterTweaker
      Run “Codec Tweaker” application
      Go to “Preferred decoders” and change “H.264″ from “Microsoft” to “LAV Video”
